ABOUT THE BAR FOUNDATION...
The Washington County Bar Foundation, Inc. was established in 1989 as the charitable arm of the Washington County Bar Association. The Mission of the Bar Foundation is to further cultivate the science of jurisprudence, improve the legal and judicial system and facilitate the administration of justice through the support of pro bono efforts, legal services for the indigent, law-related education and scholarships, and public information and educational initiatives. To support the work of the Bar Foundation, donations may be made by sending a check, made payable to "Washington County Bar Foundation" to 119 South College Street, Washington, PA 15301.
Donations support the general funding priorities of the Foundation, or may be donor-specified to support or be recognized as a contribution to one of the following areas:
- Bar Building Fund
- Holiday Gift Drive for Children
- Member Assistance Fund
- Pro Bono Program Fund
- Summit Legal Aid Grant Fund
- WCBF-YLD Educational Assistance Fund
- Charles C. Keller Endowment Fund
- Honorarium Contribution (in honor of a specific individual)
- Memorial Contribution (in memory of a specific individual)
